Application: BOB Pilot Application

I am aware of and agree with the responsibilities legally transferred to me under the FARs regarding my personal decision to fly my balloon and realize that any bodily injury and/or personal damage resultant is my liability. I further agree that none of the flights are mandatory and that I will make all flights at my option, and my decision as Pilot-in-Command may affect my placement in this event should I choose not to fly.

I will have in force, a balloon insurance policy with third party liability limits of $300,000 minimum combined single limit bodily injury, property damage and passenger limits of $100,000 each passenger during this event. Lay It Out Events must be named additionally insured.

I agree that the organizers and sponsors of this event are providing me with the facilities and means for my participation in this event and in no way do they supersede the responsibilities of the Pilot-in-Command as shown under the FARs.

I also acknowledge that as a condition of participation in this event, I am an invited guest of the organizers and sponsors and will abide by all the rules and conditions of the event. As it concerns competitive flying events, I agree to accept the decisions of the judges and the event organizers as final.
